Wendell Carr is a social media marketing expert with over 20 years of experience in the industry. He began his career as a radio disc jockey, where he developed a knack for engaging audiences with creative and informative content. He later moved into public relations, where he honed his skills in writing, editing, and event planning.

When social media emerged, Wendell saw an opportunity to use his skills to help businesses connect with their customers in a new and meaningful way. He quickly became an expert in social media marketing, and his work has been featured in national publications such as REALTOR Magaine and Georgia Association of REALTORS(GAR) magazine.  One of his marketing campaigns was honored by Howard Brinton and his STAR Power Systems as the top marketing campaign for 2006 in New York City.

In 2018, Wendell founded Quail Country Marketing to help local businesses grow their businesses through social media. The company's mission is to create engaging and informative social media posts that will attract new customers and keep existing customers engaged.

Additional Tidbits

  • My journey started from your first job being a radio disc jockey to Public Relations Director for a college, multiple musical and theatrical performance jobs, as well as writing and directing productions for both theme parks and my local church presentations.
  • I created a list of open ended questions (WOPENS) that I could use on the radio for interviews and to get sound checks. I also used these questions if I sensed an interview was dying and needed something to keep it moving along.
  • I quickly realized that these same questions were perfect for getting engagement on social media as they called for people to respond with comments and shares.
  • Quail Country Marketing was formed in 2018 as my expertise in social media in the real estate industry began to get attention from other local business owners who started asking if I could help their business get the same kind of engagement as the real estate business page that I was managing at the time.
  • I have never believed in long-term contracts with my clients. One of my mottos is that "if we don't earn your business, we don't deserve your business", so any client is welcome to cancel with 30 days notice and they keep the materials produced for them.
  • My Mission Statement is to help local small business owners grow their service businesses by creating engaging and informative social media posts that will attract new customers and keep their existing customers engaged.
  • We are excited that our company is also growing its Reputation Management service. I teach my clients how to consistently respond to both good and bad reviews, and then repurpose those good reviews into graphic content for their social media accounts and videos.
